Local author, Renée Ecckles-Hardy, is visiting SCPL! Join us on Saturday, February 25 at 2pm as she reads from her beautiful books for children. Don't miss this afternoon of reading, coloring, positivity and fun. Open to all ages. Ms. Ecckles-Hardy will also be signing books for her readers!

Ms. Ecckles-Hardy is a self-published author who focuses on books that promote diversity, inclusion, and equity. Renée  has several children’s books with accompanying coloring books that all promote themes of self-worth, self-confidence, and positive relationships. She has also published adult inspirational journals, as well as positive affirmation journals for children. Renée launched her publishing company in 2021, Brown Butterfly Publishing, to include, “Helping aspiring authors break free from their writing cocoon to become published authors.” Renée is intentional about encompassing themes of self-value and confidence in her writing and enjoys helping others do the same.
